Booking a table 1 (訂位子 1 )
Customer : I would like to reserve / book a table for eight at six o'clock next Monday.
Staff : ( Yes sir/madam. ) May I have your name and telephone number?
Customer : My name is Mary and my number is 6655 4433. Oh, and how long will you hold a reservation?
Staff : We will only hold it for ten minutes.
Customer : Can we have table in a private room or a quiet area?
Staff : Yes we will try to arrange it for you. Is there anything else that we can do for you?
Customer : Yes, we have two babies and would like high chairs for them if possible.
(模擬了想要包廂或清靜的位置, 還有需要小童的高腳椅子的情況)
Booking a table 2 (訂位子 2 )
Customer : Do we need to dress formally or is there anything we need to be aware of? ( Do you have a dress code?)
Staff : No, we don't have dress code. But we will arrange seats on the terrace if you want a smoking area.
Customer : I see, we don't smoke but one of us is vegetarian and one has allergy to seafood.
Staff : There is nothing to worry about. We have a wide range of choices for different needs, such as non-spicy, allergies, vegetarian and diabetes. There will be different signs next to each dish and you can let us know your requirements when ordering.
Customer : That's sweet. And my granny is in her wheelchair, is there disabled toilet and lift?
Staff : Yes, our restaurant has disabled toilet which is very near to the entrance, there is no stairs and we have lifts.

Booking a table 3 (訂位子 3 )
Customer : I would like to book a table for four at six tonight.
Staff : We are sorry, It's fully booked tonight and we only accept bookings no less than three days.
Customer : I see, so what time does the kitchen close? (when's the last order? )
Staff : Last order would be at 10 o'clock and we'll close at 11.
Customer : Right, can I have a table for next Wednesday at half past seven then?
